Title: NE1 got quest 3?

Haven't owned VR in years.

Has the games/ experiences moved up to the level where it's something you want to play everyday, or is there still alot of, yea I could put this on my head, or I can go eat a cookie, and the cookie wins.

How is it vs PSVR games ?

I was looking to get a VR headset for sim racing, but the whole thing ended up being to expensive for my interest level. What I learned was every headset has their own issues. If you plan to sit/stand near you desk, don't look at headsets with internal processing, since you already have the hardware. I think the best "headset" from what I researched was the BigScreenBeyond VR. OLED, hyper-lite, etc. Spendy. I am waiting it out. I think the Valve Index 2 will be the best ecosystem and affordability whenever it drops.

For sims, I wonder how the VR latency actually is. Headset makers probably lie.

Dug this out of the basement this morning.

Yup, it's as bad as Tp4 remembered, finally bothered to diy a cooling solution. 

3Dprinting a cap is too much trouble, Tp4 casts lvl 7 True Engineering.

ugh.. remembered why I stopped using this thing.

It's so heavy, and the pressure of the whole thing clamping.

Those are the selling points of the BigScreen VR if you haven't looked at it. OLED screens, ultralight weight, and the company 3d prints a gasket that is perfectly molded to your face. It's not cheap, but it solves the issue with the cumbersome nature of VR headsets.
