I really wanted a compact (tenkeyless) keyboard, but considering that the full-size Topres go for $215-237 new, I had to bite at $165 BIN. I hope it's actually in mint condition like the description says it is, but the seller seems pretty reputable.

This was the first auction I've seen from an eBay employee as well. I think the market for Topre keyboards is probably specialized enough that the people who are looking for one know the specs and know what they're looking for without having to read a description. The condition was the only piece of information that was relevant to me.

We'll see how it turns out. Hopefully my coworkers will stop complaining about my Model M after I get the Topre (open office layout with cubicles).

Got the Topre yesterday, and it's exactly as it was described. I'm very happy with it. It turned out to be a like-new Realforce at a fraction of the price of a new one (especially with the recent Elite Keyboards price raise). Now I'm on the lookout for another used one for home!
