Word of advice: Don't buy too many boards, people here have the tendency to influence you in a way that you want to catch them all

imagine those pokemon are various types of keyboards. Then you'd have ripster.

Imagine those pokemon were old ass PCs that no one wants to use anymore.

I think people here mostly don't say hello but just jump right in with some sort of question. Usually about help in choosing the right board for them.

Saying "hi i am new here wassup?" is more of a sidenot in those posts.

I did it like that, have seen it from lots of folks since then. If you'd choose a forum solely for the purpose of saying hello, I guess "other geeky stuff" is it :)
