Damn.  You think all of the buttons are wired to the main unit?  You could tie a cruise ship to dock with that cable.

I was thinking about that. Considering the (relatively) small size of the unit, it's likely that the controller isn't onboard and that the cable supports a wire for each point on the matrix.

We don't need no stinking diodes, we'll just put a separate wire for each switch! Now THAT's N-key rollover!
