which one would you recommend?
The one you're currently using. Mechanical switches won't help you in either category, although some companies' marketing is trying to promote expensive keyboards to gamers.
On the other hand, if you just want to spend cash and join the trend - feel free to browse the GH Wiki.
That's not true. Since rubber domes only have 2kro, they are worse than mechanicals with 6kro or nkro for FPS gamers. Also mechanicals *can be* more comfortable to type on for long periods of time than rubber domes.
The Sidewinder X4 (?) is NKRO, and it's rubber dome.
Kinda sad that Deck hasn't really done anything since then.
Whatever happened to lmnop?
Hahaha!
And I was the guy complaining nobody has done a Deck Legend review here.

Definitely don't get a Ducky.
They break easily in the middle of a game. You can pound on a Deck or Topre with no problem.Show Image(http://zachwang.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/IMG_0171.jpg)
Ducky has manufacturing problems? Haven't seen that in the forum.
It's a design problem. See that little tab - it partly holds the top face of the keyboard together. WhiteRice's broke. Lots of broken ones on the Chinese forums.
Bad design. Plastics.
Common with new keyboard manufacturers to have teething problems. Ask Metadot about the DAS.

I don't need to own one to doubt that any keyboard priced much higher than Ducky or Filco is worth getting :/ but thats just my opinion.
Hm ... squarebox did mention that when he tried flexing the ducky it did sorta flex. His Filco didn't o_o;
Then again the Filco's abs casing seemed to be much thicker :/
But if the keyboard is flat on the table and you don't bash on your keyboard, does it really matter :/ ?? it's got an aluminium backplate so isn't that sturdy enough ?
In my opinion, you do. And just because you think that, you shouldn't go telling people new to the board that. It's "Fanboyism".
And i hate egoists + trolls. Nobody else is entitled to share their opinions unless it meets their standards. Or they go around baiting others into fights cauz their just mean and angry in real life and got nothing better to do :/ Heck the other day some troll got sent to prison, so u better watch it or you could end up like him.

I was very strongly considering a Deck (Purchased one even, but they sent me a linear instead of a tactile, and were out of stock on the tactiles) because I liked the idea of heavier switches (clears), then I got a cheap keyboard with browns, and really like them, they're not too light like I feared.
Also, I wasn't too impressed with the Deck. For a keyboard that costs around $190 shipped, it looked sort of cheap, mostly because I couldn't stand the font they used on the keys, especially on the "word keys" (Page up/down, print screen, and the like). The backlighting was awesome though, very impressed by that. The actual keys themselves felt good when I messed around with it though.

I think that case is a bit extreme don't you? Not really relevant here. Anyway, just stop telling people to buy Ducky keyboards in every freaking thread you post in. That's all I ask.
