Hey all, it’s been YEARS since I’ve picked up my ducky, or any mechanical for that matter.
I wonder if it’s just a compatibility thing, but i’m wondering if anyone’s had this issue Recently got back into and decided to plug my ducky in. Imagine my surprise when I plugged it in and half the keyboard worked, it’s almost like it’s not getting power? The LEDs are barely bright, and it doesn’t really react to anything. I’m gonna trouble shoot with my t470 but I was wondering if anyone’s had issues with compatibility on a newer system?

If it is just a basic USB keyboard compatibility shouldn't be a issue. Even a PS2 keyboard still works with out issues.

Like Sup said, USB works across platforms/time without issue. It's possible that the cable could be faulty or causing issues, otherwise maybe something internal to the board - damage to the controller, etc. If trying a known high quality USB cable and different USB ports on the computer doesn't fix it, try cracking it open and seeing if there's any damage to the board.

Okay so update, I took all the keycaps off and starting just clicking everything, and whadaya know. It started working little by little lol. I guess some of the key's just got jammed from not being used for years?
