Title: Gameball Review
Post by: knightjp on Tue, 03 June 2025, 05:31:51
What are the thoughts on the Gameball?

I'm not aware of the overall community's feelings about the Gameball and the Gameball thumb.
I tried to search for a post or thread, looking for reviews. Didn't find anything. So here are a couple if anyone is interested.

I'd be more interested in one if it wasn't in the style of the T-BC21 Trackman Marble. I've never really cared for ambidextrous designs and that scrolling solution is no bueno.

That said, they are working on a GameBall Pro which is closer in style to the MTE. That I'm definitely interested in, especially if it ends up being cheaper than a Ploopy Classic - which I ultimately doubt will be the case thanks to tariffs.

I got mine also a few days ago and i really like it so far, now it feels weird to use a normal mouse :D

My online Problem is when i play shooter games, using right klick to zoom in and the Ball to move is a little bit Hard for my Hand.

I don't know if you've already tried it but I find switching ADS to "toggle" instead of "hold" makes a big difference when using a trackball on shooters. Substantially frees up your hand.

I think I’d like it more if it wasn’t in the T-BC21 Trackman Marble style.
