65" QM851  TCL Q LCD last year's model for $768.

Pretty decent.  This model is light cannon. Crazy bright, no OLED can match the light output.

I guess maybe the headphones, but, they're not off by much.

Honestly, it's not that hard to make an ssd enclosure, but they all kinda suck.

Wonder why that is.

Prime Day ends this year literally the day before I get paid on Sat.  :'(
and I actually do really need to get a new main HD replacement

Look at Micro Center, the best of all computer stores. They are likely very close to the best prices you find anywhere else, delivery is very quick, and they are great about fixing any kind of problem.

can't remember the last time I bought something memorable on prime day, probably sometime before covid.. the deals have been mediocre for years now.

don't worry, I really haven't seen any spectacular deals. I found my SSD replacement for $100 2tb (samsung 990 evo) earlier this year on a random deal on the samsung site. I glanced at some prime day ssds and don't think I saw anything come close to that. you're not missing out on much at all so don't rush it.

Looking at the 2230 ssd enclosures, they all look really crummy, even the ones with the little fan, it's just NOT how Tp4 would design it, there's no pipe and barely any extra surface area (fins) for dissipation.
