Title: Adjustable Tactility
Post by: Tact Spectrum on Sun, 13 July 2025, 00:19:48
Hey guys.  I just wanted to demonstrate a prototype of a project I've been working on that may need your input.  Its a keyboard using switches that can alternate between a clicky & tactile function for typing, and a linear function for gaming.

I'd like your guys feedback on the idea.  Thx

Definitely interesting. Are the switches changing mechanically, or is it using a solenoid-type mechanism to simulate the tactility and clicky-ness?

WITCHCRAFT!! No but seriously how is this achieved? I'm guessing a custom switch (mechanism)? Because I can't imagine how a normal switch could be manipulated to achieve this.

It works the same way as a traditional Mx Blue switch.  Except, I modified the designs of two of the components and added a new part.
