Hi everyone,

Super excited to join this awesome community of keyboard enthusiasts!

I’m currently working on designing a split keyboard, and I’d love to hear your thoughts, what would your dream keyboard look like? Whether it’s layout, switches, features, or aesthetics, I’m hoping to gather ideas and inspiration to create something that truly resonates with fellow keyboard lovers.

A huge welcome to the keyboard community!

Designing a split keyboard sounds like a great project.
What’s your vision for your split design?
Can’t wait to see some images!


My dream keyboard would be a luxury version of the HHKB:

- Beefy anodized and tumbled dark grey titanium shell and plate. Angle adjustable.
- Fiberglas infused thick PBT keycaps in Cherry profile (black on dark grey)
- PCB with hot-swap switch mounts, programmable, no RGB needed
- Kailh Crystal Royal Box Tactile switches (heavier spring spacebar)
