Tp4 got
32gb and 64gb machines
No 96gb yet.
Tp4 suspects the Next Ryzen might really open up memory OC on AM5. Because the hynix dies are ready to do 9000, but the imc on zen 5 can't really go above 6400, 6600 is golden sample already. :D

I had 32gb for 13 years, but was forced to downgrades to 16gb because I wanted a cool motherboard that for some stupid reason cannot run the RAM that is right there on the compatibility QVL. It is really pissing me off and I do notice a difference in performance. I've now purchased 3 sets of memory, and NONE OF THEM WORK!

Use 2T command rate instead of 1T if you're at 2400mhz.

32gb in desktop, 32gb in the file server, 16gb in the laptop and 12 in the media server.
I considered 64 for the latest desktop but I looked at ram draw and my system rarely even crosses 24gb, let alone coming close to 32.

We all know LLann secretly has a 1TB ram server hidden in her basement running nefarious hookups for a state enemy.

Used 32GB for long time, but had to upgrade to 64GB because some software would crash (video editing and 3D rendering).
VRAM is much more of a problem tho. Running AI on the GPU can require ludicrous amounts of VRAM, crashing even on a 32GB card.

I'm sitting back here with 16GB in the 2015 Alienware daily driver, 16GB in the gaming rig, and 16GB in the laser show programming PC.
Oh, I almost forgot the 2015 iMac that's too slow to do much, other than for online D&D sessions. It might have 8GB.
