ah yes a prominent arcade staple: the windows logo and beigecan't believe I'm agreeing with this guy
ngl, I don't think a beige base fits the idea with the arcade
the neon colors would match much better against a dark blue/black base but that's just me
I don't dislike the idea at all, though I think it would look a lot better on a classic N9/CC dolch base.

100% definitely stick with beige imo.
Edit: Just noticed this — consider adding another R4 1u SF novelty (preferably in purple) so that we can fill out a whole 65% right column with different icon novelties. Something like a kick icon (https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSoVjW8URpCXvKdteqQfwA6BcVZ71d_iC2qZA&s) would work great.
Also, 1u Shift in extensions isn't useful unless 2u Shift is included too. These two keys are used together for GK64-style 60% layouts, so either add the missing 2u Shift or drop the 1u one.
any, consideration for icon mods?
Sorry but there's just way too much eye-strain inducing contrast. That bright green on beige is eye-searing along with the grey on pink for Backspace and on Enter. While it may be a interesting novelty at first glance, sets like this just don't work for day to day use.

Whilst I understand where you're coming from, sets like GMK Flare and GMK Hilight exist, as do generic blanks and GMK Cosmos, so I think this is still very much a "valid" design. Also the real life color contrasts will probably be softer on the eye due to general differences between (emissive) renders and (reflective) real life.

I will say for sets like this getting physical samples, if possible, is definitely something that can be very useful. I didn't see any colors listed - but I could have missed them
For sets like this with bright/highlighter colors, and certain pastel colors, it can be really hard to judge how the final outcome will look just from renders as the different lighting will make such a difference.
