Any one knows if the Ducky or Filco keyboards have two switches under the left shift key ?
What happens if you remove the shift key, and press only one of the switches ? How does the operating system recognize it ?
Is there someone out there who can test it ? Id like to put a new key there, one for the shift and the other programmed by software, e.g. mapping a different key there.

Noo :(
I'm considering a mechanical keyboard, but they are so expensive that buying one without the proper layout makes it a no no.
Is it possible to reprogram the rom / chip or whatever on the tenkeyless' model M/F's ?

While there are not as many mechanicals using ISO layouts compared to ANSI ones, there still is decent choice if you know where to look. You may have to be content with, say, a German or UK layout if your native one is a bit more exotic, but those will be the same except for different key labels.
