It was bound to happen,
AI women are (in mechanical terms) more beautiful than real women.
AI music is even easier to generate.
If you have a good sound system, you can tell something is wrong with the music (very weird), it's completely flat with almost no humanization. The EQ is also really weird, the bass is rolled off early in a weird way inconsistent with human sound-engineers.
AI can simulate humanization instrumental, this rendition was just poorly done. But MOST PEOPLE, the average audience, who are not into the technical details of music playback, wouldn't know the difference, it's sounds fine.

Jeez, even with AI you can't escape "stomp clap hey" music.
There is a bit of flatness but also all of the instruments sound like they were run through a guitar style fuzz box, seems to be common on AI music. Kids can also tell AI music right away, though I'm not sure if this is what they're hearing or not. Now you want the sad part, don't be surprised if actual musicians start to copy this fuzzy style, just like they did with Autotune.
As for AI stuff being pushed,
Honestly with the state of the music industry over the last 2 decades the the best stuff I've heard in a while is the AI generated motown soul and blues style remixes of various music. Check out Outkast Ms Jackson 1950's soul style, Still Dre motown style, Metallica Nothing Else Matters chicago blues version or Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit psychedelic blues for a good examples. At least it's a fresh take instead of hearing Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Blink 182 played every 5th song played on the radio.

People in power are DESPERATE for AI to succeed because they’ve bet the farm on it
I suspect that this is a big part of it, but it can be helpful to find a quick answer to a question like "Was the turkey bird named after the nation?"
