Introducing Hermes

Hey everyone,

We’re excited to share Hermes Our upcoming numpad/macropad project. We designed Hermes so that it compliments your current setup

Overview

• Aluminum Edition – A premium, CNC-milled version featuring brass, copper and alu accent and badge options for a high-end, refined finish.

3D printed edition will be put on hold for now

Technical Highlights

✓ Top-Mount Design – Balanced acoustics and feel 
✓ Low Front Height – Hermes has a 17.6mm front height
✓ QMK + VIA Support – Fully programmable, Firmware will be made open source once it launches.
✓ Middle Accent Plate and badge Options – Available in brass, copper or aluminum.
✓ PCB Options – 1.6mm Hotswap and 1.6mm Solderable PCB will be available, the 1.6 version will have a southpaw option and solderable will support both.
✓ Patina Finish Planned – You will be able to purchase Patina'd middle plate, badge and weight.
✓ Themed Keycaps – We're currently working on custom themed keycaps to go with Hermes which will be available in Aluminum, Brass and Copper.

The PCB is being finalized and will fully support QMK + VIA at launch. 
Prototypes for both case variants are currently in production.

The protos have been tested for fitment, firmware is being finalized. We are currently in process of working with reviewers to get it into their hands.

GB for this will be in march sometime, more details soon.

Development Progress

• Prototypes — Tested 
• PCB — New South paw option being added.

• Case Model — Prototypes have been machined.

Once the prototypes arrive, we’ll begin testing and share updates with full transparency, including fit, finish, and firmware performance.

The prototypes have passed initial testing, pcb layouts are now being finalized and then the firmware.

3D printing version has been put on hold for now.

At the moment only the 3d printed version is weightless would you like the alu to be weightless?

thanks! we had some people who wanted all 1u if possible so that they can use 2 of them as split keyboard, not sure how they would accomplish that but excited to see

I love the look of this and really hope that grey variant is similar to the taupe grey Neo80 Cu.

thankyou! it should be similar, I have ano samples coming in after CNY. Due to CNY was only able to get the raw ones on time should be updating the post with them soon!
