I'm thrilled to announce that the EM-01 keyboard will be available for pre-order starting November 28th. This keyboard embodies a tangible mecha-style theme, a project into which I've poured a significant amount of time and effort
. The origins of this project can be traced back to an Interest Check post I made on the Geekhack (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=125242.0). As my second group buy product following the Great Sword 80, I'm incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and attention from everyone.

Model：
Serial Number: EM-01
"Experimental" indicates that it's a prototype designed for testing and development stages.
"Mech" is short for "Mechanical," and is commonly used to refer to mechs or robotic warriors.
Thus, "Experimental Mech" is the designated name for this keyboard model.
As this is the first iteration, it is labeled as the Alpha version, hence the number 01.

Exterior Design：
To capture the layered look of a mecha, we've employed an exoskeleton-like accessory structure. This design not only gives a more three-dimensional feel but also offers greater freedom in terms of color and material customization.
Naturally, the detachable armor design does increase the overall cost of the kit, but it also opens up a wider range of possibilities for future customization.
Judging from the prototypes made from resin castings, it has indeed achieved the desired effect we were aiming for.
Additionally, we are considering the launch of an DLC (Downloadable Content) Armor Upgrade Kit. By replacing the existing accessories, it will transform the entire kit into a different form, much like the weapon packs in Gundam model kits.

Expansion:
With the premise that the entire armor is detachable, we've endowed the EM-01 with a wider array of color combinations and the playability of accessory expansion.
This brings a keyboard closer to the definition of a toy.
You can simply swap out a few parts to create a keyboard with a completely different style.

DLC

This time we also brought everyone the concept sketch of the upcoming DLC.
yes! ~ It's a sketch. This keyboard was also drawn with such a sketch! ~
You can clearly see from the concept art that we will be upgrading the appearance accessories as a whole, which also means you will have a set of heavy-duty mech.
Designing a DLC is no less time-consuming than making a brand new keyboard, but we are willing to spend more time on this big toy to increase its expandability and playability, making it a more distinctive stylistic decoration on your desktop.
