I just got an Aesco A83, I installed A-HUB to upgrade the firmware to the latest version (1.6 something) and calibrate the keyboard.
The keyboard is connected to a KVM. The KVM make use of double taps to switch from one device to another.
Unfortunately, the KVM do not detect the double taps done on this keyboard. Although the signal is transmitted to the devices. Ie no matter how fast I double tap a letter. It always registers on the connected devices.
It looks like the KVM sniffer/filter does not recognize the double taps.
Any suggestions?

My KVM has 2 different key combinations used to switch between devices. Usually, I'd use double tap scroll lock but double tap num lock works as well. What I find odd is that with some keyboards, scroll lock won't work but strangely num lock does. What is stranger is that with some keyboards, pressing either key combination fast doesn't work but pressing them a bit more slowly does.
See if your KVM supports a different key combination or vary the timing (slower, not faster). Maybe it might help.

Thanks for your reply. No number pad on the A83 so no numlock. And this 600$ StarTech KVM has next to zéro configuration. I can only chose to LCTRL or RCTRL.
