Glad to finally be bringing this set to everyone!
Superweld is a keyset by me and Neely that puts an originative spin on a long lost project.
It features center stepped bottom row keys and sculpted relegendables, as well as a slightly familiar yet non-infringing colourway.
Group buy runs from Jan. 2nd 2026 through Jan. 30th 2026.

Sorry I am not up to speed on the lore of this set and I have some neurotic questions about color. Just trying to get the most accurate sense of how it will look based on IRL reference points.

1. So this is inspired by GMK Hyperfuse but won't be exactly color matched to it?

2. I see SA Hyperfuse exists with specific SP color codes but this will not be using the same ones?
https://matrixzj.github.io/docs/sa-keycaps/HyperFuse/
VBV Blue, RDA Purple, GTL Alpha, GD Mod

3. On the IC this was stated: "Mix of custom Pantones and SP stock colours (GSM mod, alpha TBC with chips on the way)". Is this still true? GSM is darker than GD mod right? And I can't find any reference to a TBC color. How does it compare to GTL?

Thanks!

I think the "TBC" means they're yet to be determined (a typo of "TBD"), depending on how the chips look when they receive them. In SP's color code system, a chip beginning with T means brown, which isn't the case here.

TBC = To Be Confirmed

it's fine that you're not buying the keyset but you don't have to express it once in the ic and twice again in the gb. if you're that particular about oco's colours you could get a one off from sp or if you just consider originative/typemachina a better designer then you should probably just blow my head off

Sorry I am not up to speed on the lore of this set and I have some neurotic questions about color. Just trying to get the most accurate sense of how it will look based on IRL reference points.

i got you

1. So this is inspired by GMK Hyperfuse but won't be exactly color matched to it?

inspired by the hyperfuse colourway which came before the gmk run. the gmk colours are just approximations of the original sp colours from gmk's stock palette

2. I see SA Hyperfuse exists with specific SP color codes but this will not be using the same ones?

no. originative/typemachina (https://typemachina.com) purchased the rights to the hyperfuse colourway from the original designer. practically neither party is involved in keyboards currently and oco won't run or allow a run of dcs hyperfuse. sp is being a good business and honouring oco's rights to the colourway, but has explicitly allowed for dcs superweld to be ran

3. On the IC this was stated: "Mix of custom Pantones and SP stock colours (GSM mod, alpha TBC with chips on the way)". Is this still true? GSM is darker than GD mod right? And I can't find any reference to a TBC color. How does it compare to GTL?

i don't actually know this one but i'll edit this message when i get info

So if I understand correctly, these colors are neither the original hyperfuse, nor hyperfuse origins colors, nor oco sa hyperfuse colors, and the alpha color sample chip has not yet been recieved?
Don't mean to be blunt, just trying to understand if there are colorchips available, a comparison with any of the older sets and pictures of that as well or that we're buying blind on renders.

Per NovelKeys' website, estimated delivery is Q2.

Theoretically in for all kits. ...but would also like to see some color samples so there are no "surprises"
