Title: looking for another kb

hi, everyone,

I just sold my das ultimate s. blue switch gives me much fun. but it sounds a little bit loud to me. my girl friend also complains when i type. i wanna try something new. what i am typing on is ss 6gv2. the black switch is not perfect to type on for me. i guess i narrow myself down to the brown one. and typing 80%, gaming 20% to me.  

i am struggling between the full 104 keys layout and tenkeyless layout. besides saving room, any advantages of tenkeyless? also to get a new kb from das or filco? i read the threads on das vs filco. but i am still not convinced to purchase which one from them.

imo, the perfect one for me is a white tenkeyless with num keypad instead of func keypad, and i hate the short backspace key and large enter key. but unfortunately, i have not found any like this, even in chinese market.

Or how about the red switch? maybe i could find some one bring a 3494 from china.

Force the issue.  Go with the Cherry browns, and that's final.  Show her that you're willing to compromise but you have standards. Grow a pair, son.

I don't have one, but I can't imagine it being any different in terms of sound than the browns... if you can get your hands on one.
