Story
One of the great things about custom keyboards, aside from the sound and feel, is the visual appeal. There is something special in keyboard design, considering that such simple shapes possess so much character. I was long fascinated by this, in particular the engraved weights, which always left a strong impression on me. It truly is an elegance unique to this community. Around a year ago, I wished that keyboards would externalize this beauty, rather than hiding it underneath–that was how this project began.
As a solo designer, it has been a long journey for me. There were countless hours researching, designing, fixing, and additional fixing based on feedback, as well as spending more hours messing around with Blender. It was a challenge, but I loved every bit and will continue working until I can proudly say I achieved my vision. No matter how much time passes, Marigold60 will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I hope the community appreciates it too.

I initially opted for typography-based engravings, but, based on form responses, I also want to experiment with geometric shape/pattern engraving designs. If you have any ideas for a certain pattern, please tell me on the IC Form!
Also because of the extra weights, there is some added complexity to the assembly process. It was one of the main challenges I had to get through, something which I will get to test once I order a prototype. Below is an exploded diagram:

*The weights, badge, and case will be polished aluminum, but the inside of the engravings will stay unpolished.

Feedback/Engraving Suggestions
