Overview
“Why are weights so prettily designed when they’ll just be hidden away?”
Once all is set on a desk, the only things that remain are the board’s basic shape and, sometimes, a badge. It is a shame, though–there are truly beautiful weight designs out there.
All those illustrations, designs, and pretty geometric patterns are rarely brought into the spotlight. A board capable of doing this, conceptually, was the vision for the Marigold60.

Language and letters, being the essence behind keyboards, inspired a typography-based design.

Before committing to a prototype, I wanted first to gauge community feedback on the concept. There are no set timelines, and the time for prototype construction will depend on the feedback I get.
During the prototyping process, I will also make sure the design is feasible.
