OF Studio - OF1 60% Keyboard
Hi everyone,
We’re excited to share an early look at the OF1 Keyboard Kit by OF Studio. This project is entering the final stage before launch, and we’d love to gather feedback from the community.
Project Overview
The OF1 is a fully realized keyboard project with mass production already completed, positioning it as a low-risk group buy with a fast turnaround.
Unlike traditional GBs, this is closer to a ready-to-ship model, with only final configurations remaining before launch.

Internal Structure
As we all know, the inside of a keyboard is a closed or semi-closed cavity, which naturally has acoustic characteristics. With a large internal space and many parallel surfaces, it is prone to forming standing waves, leading to hollowness and echo.
To address this, we opted for a relatively straightforward solution: extending the internal structure of the bottom case to fill the space between the PCB and the case as much as possible, effectively reducing the internal cavity volume.
At the same time, sufficient room is reserved to allow for flex and downward movement of the internal assembly. Additionally, a 1.0mm Poron foam layer is added at the bottom to further improve the acoustic performance.
The top-mount plate uses a fairly standard mounting point layout.
We’ve added silicone pads between the plate and the top case to help reduce typing resonance and vibrations.
