Title: HHKB pro troubles [solved]

Hi.

After doing much reading (mostly on this forum) I decided to get the HHKB pro 2. It arrived today and I am very happy with it except for one major issue, I cant seem to get the function keys to work during bootup, ie. no BIOS and no grub selections.

Has anyone else experienced this? My motherboard is relative new, < 2 years old and I am able to enter the bios with other usb keyboards. My dipswitch settings are 101000.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: It seems the board does not work at all until I am past grub.

Weird.  I haven't had that problem before (Dell laptop).  That said, I really don't use the F-keys during boot often, but I added an admin password in the BIOS recently with my HHKB.

hehe, not a bad suggestion. I figured it out however. Removed an extension usb cable and all is now well, go figure..
