Overview
Hello everyone, I'm Kei / jigumikei and I'm happy to finally share with you my first keycap design ♡
MW Jirai is a cute keycap set, inspired by the Jirai-kei (地雷系) aesthetic and fashion style with additional nods to some of its adjacent subculture trends.
Jirai-kei, or landmine-type translated, is a subculture fashion style known for its cute, dark girly outfits and doll-like visuals, with the Pien (ぴえん) makeup style.
Jirai-kei also helps to serve as an avenue for many Jirais to embrace their mental health, while looking cute doing so ♡
The chosen colour scheme pays homage to the classic Jirai-kei outfit of a pink/purple blouse top paired with a black high-waisted skirt.

Colours
RAL Classic colours 4003 and 9011 were chosen for the set and will be referenced for the colour matching process.

Kitting
Base kit supports most layouts up to TKL with additional kits for numpad, 40s support, and spacebars.
An additional 2.25/2.75u spacebar is included in the spacebar kit for Alice boards that support double 2.25/2.75u spacebars.
Novelties are included in the base kit.
The set will be made from doubleshot ABS, with UV-printed novelties.
Update 29 May - Added 4 new child kits after some feedback.
Alt alphas kit has been added for those who prefer latin alphas.
NorDe kit has been added, though it is recommended to use it with latin alphas as it might clash with the hiragana sublegends.
Add-on kit will have some relegendables and shine-through keys.
And lastly, added a ribbon kit for boards using all 6 rows, for some extra colour to the top row to balance out the pink if you prefer. :cool: (check renders for an example!)
