Hey guys, been a while since I've passed through here. My how the site has grown...
We're redoing our conference room here at work and I'm looking for ideas on a conference room keyboard (I've had little luck finding something suitable yet). Here is what I'm looking for:
Key Layout - Standard space saver! The closer we can get to a Model M mini (84ish key) layout the better. No funky Home/End/cursor key layouts!
Color - Black or Grey. Nothing red/blue/tan etc
Interface - Wireless, ideally Bluetooth
Key action - mechanical switches would be preferred, but I do not believe a wireless mechanical spacesaver keyboard exists. We'll settle for the best rubber dome key action available.
Any suggestions?

Hi Mike,
have a look at the Elecom Wireless Compact Keyboard. It isn't a mechanical but looks interesting.
I found it on http://www.geekstuff4u.com/ (http://www.geekstuff4u.com/peripheral/keyboard-mouse/elecom-wireless-compact-keyboard-tk-fdp021.html)

The Logitech DiNovo Edge (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards/keyboard/devices/192) is quite popular for this purpose, maybe mostly for showing off because it looks expensive.
A bit big with its built-in trackpad, media controls, wide edges and aluminium wrist rest, and the gloss finish does attract fingerprints. The nav keys above the arrow keys are 2×3 instead of 3×2 also. Of course it is a bit pricey, but it has full-sized keys with what many consider to be the best of all scissor-switches, with 3 mm key travel ... and having good switches what is most important, right?

The touchpad with integrated scroll of diNovo Edge is very handy. If one doesn't type a lot, or doesn't mind rubber domes, it's a good keyboard. Decent battery life, too.
The glossy finish .. yeah, it sucks. Was done to attract the unwashed masses.
