Last one, I picked up the first.

nice, so mine must have been a good price. I payed $15 and it is a white label, which i like more over the blue label for some reason.
edit oh and i bought mine about a week ago through the OBO BIN was like 30ish or something

Buy it nows always get me excited, even if they aren't the best price, no dealing with bidding,
-
I just grabbed this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&hash=item3f04c4a460&item=270662935648&nma=true&pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&rt=nc&si=zIFqeaMB%252Bx0eEcoIRH7VmgMhWA4%253D
My first dell logo model M...
-
Something's very fishy about this. The same seller has another one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ibm-model-m-vintage-keyboard-black-logo-clicky-ps2-/270663102458?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f04c72ffa (http://cgi.ebay.com/ibm-model-m-vintage-keyboard-black-logo-clicky-ps2-/270663102458?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f04c72ffa)
It has the same picture of a Dell, but the description of this one says it's a 1394540. So I doubt any of the keyboards are actually Dells. Probably just using a stock photo.
-
Oh no, I bet you're right... It sure doesn't have that stock photo look, either.
-
I find the description of "Black logo" to be enticingly interesting. If it's a DELL then :bored: , but if it's an IBM, it could be anything, at best being an Industrial.

Why... It could be anything.... it's.... it's.... you know what this is? It's a lamp!

I thought that too when I first read it, but the model number doesn't match an industrial. I think it's just an average Model M and is perhaps in below average condition being the seller doesn't want to post a picture of it.
-
Yeah I think you're right, Sam. I am expecting a regular old grey label M that will be filthy :(

Shame, a Dell Model M would be kinda cool.
-
Yeah, almost makes me want to back out of the auction. I wanted a Dell M.
-
And now I got a Dell M from the same seller (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=270664637795&si=AosYBujI4ZxonKj8Aj8Dm%252BfxmBY%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT), for 25$ shipped. Still haven't received my first M, so I just doubled down in the keyboard lottery.
-
This guy just keeps listing keyboards. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ibm-model-m-vintage-keyboard-black-logo-clicky-ps2-/270665519492?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f04ec1184) You can bet this one is your normal 1401
-
I finally got my 2 keyboards from the seller- both are filthy and nasty. The first, as expected was a regular old 1391401 that seems to have a good key feel and be in good shape, despite all the dirt.
The second is a dell-labeled 52g, and it is very yellow for a Model M. I didn't even know they could yellow like that. Maybe I will try a retrobright experiment on it or something.

I got mine a little while back, was in very good condition. I just bolt modded it a few days ago
