Not to hijack, but people might also be interested http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190447005641&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1154wt_913. These are basically external versions of a thinkpad keyboard, complete with trackpoint, trackpad, and well implemented scissor switches over domes.

They list for $50 (with free shipping) but I just go mine by offering 35. Brand new in original box to my doorstep in under a week.

What kind of rollover do those keyboards have? Can you test? Also I've heard that the scissors on IBM keyboards are considered to have a better feel than on the new Lenovo ones, can you confirm?

Wow, I took a couple of minutes to make sure what those were since the picture was iffy and missed them.  I would have gone for at least one.  Oh well, it was more of a want than a need.

I'm not sure how to test rollover on linux very accurately -- I'll look into it. (Probably also dependent on whether running as PS/2 or USB.)

I quite like the scissors on this. I haven't had a Lenovo board so I can't really compare -- but it is just as good as my T60's keyboard.
