Thought this was funny. The pictures say it all...

These keyboards are all over ebay in various strange woods.. A lot of them seem to have Cherry switches, makes me curious, but not that curious.
-
They're really pretty. I think the finish would get pretty sticky and dirty in a hurry with any significant usage though.
-
There's a few listings of these on eBay. Does anyone know if they really use Cherry key switches?
-
I'll hazard a guess that these "Bamboo keyboards" are rubber domes at these price-point. The "wooden Keyboards (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Custom-Made-Ebony-Wood-Keyboard-Cherry-Mechanical-MX-/130328238045?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item1e582b17dd#ht_10094wt_1139)" with MX switches are a little more expensive.
You get what you pay.

So would you agree that you're "buy-curious"?

THEY STEALING DA PANDAR's FOOD!!! I thought they were trying to save the species?

No, they're probably just plastic (http://instantrimshot.com/index.php?sound=rimshot&play=true).

Did you see the idiot who posted a comment complaining about the waste of trees? Apparently, he doesn't know much about bamboo. Then, there was the guy complaining about the West "thinking with their wallets". I appreciate nature much more than your average person..... But why is it the majority of the greenies are so stupid?
-
Pretty cool if they applied a different finish (I really don't like the one they have in the photos) and if I could get a steady supply of replacement keycaps. Hey it's bamboo, that stuff just keeps growing.

soon or later, we will see panda hunting keyboard for food.
-
a gayass looking panda with bolts in its hands(or paws) looks familiar to me...
-
getdigital.de has those listed
didn't get the point of 'em though, bit of a novelty item init?
