How much do you expect this to sell for?
-
Good question !
There's a Dolch 60 for 99$ BIN + postage, but the 63C is better hardware..

The hard drive looks to be busted. I'm unfamiliar with how easy it is to replace and get it running again. The screens in the ad only seem to show the BIOS.
-
They're standard x86 PCs, you'll have no difficulty replacing parts.
Sure. But what about getting it running again? Is there any software that needs to be installed or is the hard drive just storage?
-
So if I buy this for you will you buy it for twice the price? :D It's the American way.

If you care about hardware in the portable PC, get a later Dolch 61-64 but not a 65 they aren't mechanical. If you care about the keyboard only, the 60 is best since it has a PS/2 port on the side, making the cable detachable and it works with any PS/2 cable. the others require a custom cable be built but that's not hard thanks to some work by geekhackers contributing the pinouts on here.
One of the models has a trackpoint of sorts in the top right corner, I've never used that one. It might have been a variation of the 64c.

Thanks, very nice to know !
It's mostly the keyboard (the caps!!), however I always kinda wanted the analyser but it cost something like 5000$US when it was new ..
No, I will not pay you twice the price :)
-
Sold for US$56.00 ..
I'd say somebody made a nice deal,
hopefully it was one of you guys :)
-
I hope so too, I paid twice that just for a keyboard off of one and held back on this auction.
