Title: POS-System from 1912, barly used, like NIB!
Post by: 7bit on Mon, 29 November 2010, 11:44:59
Zufallsfund- Top Jugendstil NATIONAL Registrierkasse (http://cgi.ebay.de/Zufallsfund-Top-Jugendstil-NATIONAL-Registrierkasse-/270666123570?pt=Design_Stil&hash=item3f04f54932)

Its from 1912 and the 902 Mark inside are from 1914 or earlier. This baby had been used for 2 years only, until it went straight into the attic. This cash register is virtually NIB. It comes with a lot of documents about its purchase and letters about payment issues.

The money would be worth more than 10,000 EUR today! But since it is not allowed anymore (since 1914 actually) to change that money into gold, it has only a collectible value.

If it wouldn't be so expansive, I would go for it.

ps: has someone got a time machine, so I could go and change the bank notes into real money (Goldmark)?

Do you think I would tell you about it, if it had rubber domes?

That's actually a gorgeous machine.

But the M15 is still better:

I kind of just like the plain beige look. I don't like tacky stuff, just like plain and practical. Not to mention that M15 can't be adjusted anymore: it would make more sense just getting a regular Model M and splitting it in two halves.
