Title: Fair prices for these Model M's?
Post by: synack on Thu, 02 December 2010, 22:08:20
Not to sound greedy, but I'm curious...  What would be a fair price for these guys individually?  I'm wanting to pull the trigger on a RK-9000 but would like to offset the cost a bit...  (I have quite a few M's, but not any other kind of mech...)

Lexmark

IBM (USA)

They're all obviously used, but work fine (using the UK one to type this...)  All I've done is vacuumed them out and wiped them down a bit.  They could use a more thorough cleaning.

I've seen eBay prices, but really, what is the going rate around here?  And how much does US shipping usually run?

Do you mean shipping within the USA?  If so, I shipped a keyboard recently for $4.87 by USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation.

Just trying to be fair if I list them here, I'm so new that I've never seen them in the classified section.

In the BST/classifieds of other forums I frequent items are usually much more reasonable that what you'd pay on eBay.

(I'm happy that shipping can be reasonable, was worried about that...)
