I just got my IBM Model M in the mail today and I guess I didn't look closely enough at the pictures to realize that there was no cable.
Where can I get one for cheap or does anyone have a spare that I can take off your hands?
-
Thx for the info rip, I've been searching around for spare cables aswell and no luck finding original ones.
-
I was looking for one to buy as a spare for my Model M, and Unicomp seems to be the only place to get them for now. They are also new if I am not mistaken.

Ughhh....$15 + 7 shipping. That's more than I paid for the board.
-
I was going to post a link to an Ebay one but there was NONE.
Hmmmmm......No wonder IBM Buckling Spring is going down in the poll to 3rd place.
If a starcraft 2 pro starting using Model M they'd go back to number #1.
Starcraft sheep just use whatever the pro players use.

LOL. My MX-11800 and my Dell AT-101W were both $10 each, but I had to pay about $30 for shipping for each.

Did you happen to get/find one yet?
(assuming you're not going to get the unicomp one)
-
Doesn't Brian O Neill sell them too?

I actually played some games on my Model M the other night. Felt all right but mashing buckle springs versus Blues or Browns takes a little bit more out of my fingers.
Though it would be epic to bust out a Model M keyboard at the pro-level.
