Hey guys,
As I've became more and more deeply involved in mechanical keyboards, my desire also grew to be up-to-date about new mechanical keyboard models.
I consider geekhack as the ultimate resource for mechanical keyboard information but it's very overwhelming regarding the number of threads and posts.
Back then, I choose the Mechanical Keyboard Guide of Overclock.net to keep myself up-to-date about such news. While that thread delivers the information that I need, sometimes it also irritates the hell out of me. It takes me off when someone asks for the thousandth time the same question and others answer it through dozens of paragraphs. Not only that, but the thread goes offtopic many times. I get overloaded with information.
I bent over backwards to make my situation easier and written a webscraper (http://monda.hu/blog/2010/08/29/overclock-net-mechanical-keyboard-guide-atom-feed/) for their thread that outputted an atom feed so that I could read the thread efficiently without visiting it every time someone wrote a message.
I also created a Twitter account (http://twitter.com/#!/mechkeyboards) specifically for mechanical keyboard news as a diary for me and to share useful information with others (not that it's popular).
Ultimately, I'd like to ask you whether you are willing to contribute to this thread to let me (and others) know when a new mechanical keyboard is released. Reviews are also much appreciated.
I think it would be a useful resource for everyone interested about new keyboards but not wanting to browse geekhack 24/7.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Laci

Ripster: So true. I can imagine a bunch of fat ass kids posting there 24/7. :)

post 2,3,4 is not related to new keyboards, if you realized:biggrin:

Lol - the OCN Mechanical Keyboard Guide thread as a feed? Half the time it used to be about hamburgers.
At almost 1M views it's only there because it provides valuable ad revenue for OCN.
Hey, as a longtime OCN member, I resemble those remarks. Even the best keyboard threads need tangential discussions about hamburgers, ATI vs. Nvidia flame wars, or the standard Apple bashing. Then after we sort that out, we get back on topic, sometimes.

Let's keep it serious, gentleman. No one is interested in this?

Thanks Ripster!
I really hope that this thread will be up-to-date in the future. I'll surely post there if I find anything new, although you guys are much more informed than me.

I'm also giving away $25 promo codes for the XArmor U9BL.
