Title: Whats the story with these M keycap legends?

does anybody know the official story for these Model M legends? Under the number row you see fractions, there are others too that dont make any sense to me.

IBM and Unicomp probably took a lot of special orders. I think you can still get custom keys at Unicomp.
Dye sublimation is probably a really flexible printing method (unlike, say double shots)

That's strange. Amber legend on the Control key and a beige Esc key. Almost like an inverse Unicomp. (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=7706)
