Title: Cherry MX-5000 ISO for ANSI
Post by: didjamatic on Sat, 04 December 2010, 22:19:04
I have a Cherry MX-5000 Ergo Plus board with Cherry Browns in ISO layout and I'd like to trade it for one in ANSI layout.

Not my pic, but mine is just like this.

This is what I want to trade for, or buy if you have one available:

Probably not gonna happen since the US ones go for $200 more on average :P
Did you consider just modding it?

If you can solder and have the right drills its possible. There is also a complete replaceable PCB ready somewhere on OTD. Probably costs around $70 for a single PCB run though.
