I tried it at a shop several times, its very similar to a regular rubber dome keyboard in feel, just far snappier.

I always assumed that the Libertouch uses a capacitive switch because it costs about the same as a Realforce!

Fujitsu also make the HHKB which uses capacitive switches. To be honest, I have a hard time feeling the difference between capacitive and nice rubber domes.

Which keyboard did you try, Airscrew?  The HHKB, the Realforce, or both?  I would agree with you on the HHKB, they don't feel so stellar, but the Realforce is quite a bit different, IMO.

I tried both the HHKB and the Realforce. But these were just the display models in the shop so had probably already been heavily mauled. I haven't had the pleasure to try these boards in anger.
