Title: Best T-shirts.
Post by: kill will on Fri, 17 December 2010, 19:43:30
Can anyone recommend a very nice plain colored cotton t-shirt. Something that can be bought in bulk for under $8 a shirt.
I like Hanes and buy them in bulk, but they aren't that nice or soft.
American Apparel is nice, but expensive.
Any recommendations?

American Apparel is nice, I only know because of Woot Shirts (just got my random 3 yesterday).
But under $8/shirt should be really easy to manage... I mean, you normal Wal-Mart shirts in packs of 3+ for $8.

I order shirts from Teefury (http://www.teefury.com/) every now and then. They post a new print every day that is available for only 24 hours. The price is usually $9 or $10 + s/h. The print is often quite geeky, related to tech or pop culture in some way.
I like American T-shirt sizes, because they are tall enough. European sizes are made to fit short, fat Italians (think Danny De Vito) and not tall Northerners like myself. Compared to the usual price of a printed T-shirt over here (usually starting at $25 for the cheapest print), it is still relatively cost-efficient for me including overseas shipping.
