So my buddy gets 10-20µs with WinXP while I get about 150µs on 7.

See if disabling hpet in bios (not available on asus boards) and/or http://www.lucashale.com/timerresolution/ (http://www.lucashale.com/timerresolution/) helps you lower dpc.

130ish average, 220 highest. I think these numbers are normal for Win 7.
