It is my duty to point out whenever an ebay Model M is actually a rubber dome board.
So that would be a not-so-great-find.

One of them is a buckling spring...
-
True. The 71G4644 is rubber dome, the 82G is buckling spring. That's an odd couple.
-
so, it's a $330 BS plus a $59.99 rubber dome XD
-
Doesn't even have a detachable cable.

AHH MY EYES!! SWIZEL CORD!

Not a new listing. It was up before, and not surprisingly, no bidders.

Yeah, something like that!
I stand corrected, you can spend more on a rubber dome Model M. (http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/ontheball.html)

I think you mean an 'Enhanced Quiet Touch technology' keyboard

Along with some paranormal bidding. Started out at $.99 but someone managed to singlehandedly bid it up to $275. Weird.

Ok, that makes sense. I guess the seller's strategy of lowering the minimum bid but setting a high reserve worked in this case.
As you say though, pretty dumb for the buyer. If someone wanted a NIB M, why not just buy one from Clickykeyboards? Much cheaper I'd think. The 71G4644 Rubber Dome has gotta be worth very little even if it is NIB.
