anyone been to the store in diamond bar? i just found out where it was located, and i live like 10 mins away, and was wondering if they had a lot of stuff in the store that they don't have online, or is it all going to be the same?
-
Oh what? I didn't know they had one there, I might need to check it out if their supply has more to offer.
-
If Majestouch has a store front, that is news to me.
-
yeah, i could be completely wrong, but i kind of got the idea they did when i saw the about page http://elitekeyboards.com/about.php

I doubt it would be a place where they would have keyboards just laying around for people to try out. But you never know.

I'm pretty sure he would want to meet me, a real life Panda.

Ha! You'd probably see all his keyboards and try to hump his leg. Then get placed on his 'banned customers' list along with Welly. Who, I assume, is the only one on that list.
-
Pretty sure Ripster is penciled in there.

Majestouch/Elitekeyboards does not have a store front.
Their registered address is, unfortunately, just a PO box number. If you check out google maps, the # is the store for the local USPS/UPS/FEDEX center, called "Diamond Mail & Shipping" (Diamond as in the city's name is Diamond Bar). I walked in there once, looking around for "ste 104" and the Korean Owner gave me such a dirty look. I approached him asking for "Suite 104" (in english) and he looked at me as if I spoke Martian to him, and gave me a look that was between "**** off" and "do I give a ****."
I called Brian at EK, and he said most of the KBs are actually stocked near Riverside.
I live 1 minute away from EK's registered address. Now, unless their Mailing center is a front for some organized KB scene...then you got me.

ahh ok bummer >< i thought it would be cool to possibly try out keyboards before purchasing.

You should tell him to get a new receptionist.

Brian said their operation isn't that big to warrant any more personnel...Brian told me they were looking to hiring some part time college students for some *****/grunt work (not quite how he put it, but that's how I understood it)....like filing or something...lol. But I'd doubt he'd let any of us near his stash. >_>

haha, I work in City of Industry, so yes, I think you and I are pretty darn close. :D
-
Yeah, I never let anyone have a taste of my stash either; they'd sure be back for more!

I recently discovered I'm in the same city as Metadot (Das Keyboards) and they do kinda have a storefront and will let you try some keyboards. I'd totally be there, but they don't have any tenkeyless boards and what they do have is a fingerprint magnet
