Wait a sec, my current Model M is a 1391401 and it has the gray label.  Is it not suppose to?

Does anyone else think that in the picture with the ESC key removed, the barrel plate looks gray, but in the other pictures it looks black?

(Did the barrel plates come in gray? I've only seen black and almost-white)

On second thought. I have seen one barrel plate that was a dull, dark gray color. That is maybe what we're looking at.

So there are at least three color options: dull dark gray, shiny jet black, and off-white.

Kishy, it certainly looks brown to me. But I'm also told I suck at identifying colors.
