This was one of those Asian special orders. This one should exist in at least 3 versions variants:
G80-1865LWNEU-2 (MX Blue, Nkey, USB-Hub, Lasered Keys)
G80-1865LXNEU-2 (MX Brown, Nkey, USB-Hub, Lasered keys)
G80-1865HXNEU-2 (MX Brown, No Nkey, USB-Hub, Doubleshots)
A fourth variant is supposed to exist with MX Blue and Doubleshots, but I have never seen it.
The board is based on the Raptor K1, meaning it comes iwth a USB port and full nkey rollover, depending on model. Quality is okay, as good as the modern Cherry boards get. Not as good as the vintage ones due to slightly thinner case, but still pretty good. It will last several years. I have a few G80-18xx that are 20 years old and still work fine.
I have a special item:
G80-1865LYCRC-2 (MX Red, Nkey, USB-Hub, Lasered Keys ,Chinese traditional layout )
You can order it from electronic component distributors now but if you call CDW, Tiger or Newegg They have it available to them
If you don't like the spreadout layout, filco has a similar layout. I only learned about this recently:Show Image(http://www.filcochina.com/images/PRU/PRODUCT01/FKB100MNB/FKB100MNB_01.jpg)
I don't think you can get it in ansi, though.
Which Filco model is this? I've never seen this layout before
Has anyone managed to get a quote or order the G80-1865 from ProVantage or elsewhere? Lowest price I've found in the US is $140 before shipping, which isn't bad compared to PCHome. On a side note, the 3000 is only $80 now from ProVantage.
What a lovely keyboard this Filco mini !!!
I want one of them asap.
I think you should PM Bruce or start a thread for interest on the Keyboard Co sub forum. I'm sure he can get one for you.
I searched cdw and didn't see this keyboard. Will it be available in the future?
Is that an official one or modded with the MX Red? Can't find any info about this on Google at all.

Can someone tell me whether the switches on the g80-1865 are mounted on a metal plate.
Thanks
They are PCB-mounted, not plate-mounted. N8N is correct.
