I have a fairly new Unicomp Spacesaver that has developed an odd noise on the Enter key. When the key is released and goes back to the up position, the buckling spring seems to vibrate a bit, making kind of a jingling sound, a little like a slinky. As the owner of several BS boards, I'm used to the springs occasionally making a slight ringing sound, but this is far louder and longer, making it much more noticeable and distracting.
If I pop the keycap off and back on again, the noise goes away, but returns after a couple of days. The spring does not look damaged or bent that I can see. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe putting some kind of damping material at the top of the keycap to maybe hold the spring a little tighter but I don't want to ruin the feel of the key either.

I suspect the spring might not be seated fully on the hammer part, or your keycap might be a little loose. Inspect the inside of the key, especially the small plastic latches, and make sure the spring is all the way on the hammer. I twist+push the spring down gently, that does the trick for me.

Thanks. I tried gently pushing down and twisting on the spring using very fine-tipped tweezers. The spring did seem to stand up straighter afterwards instead of leaning to the side. The noise is gone but even just removing and replacing the keycap did that, so I won't be sure if it worked for a few days, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
The keycap itself looks in good shape, and doesn't feel any looser than any of the other keys on the board. There's actually a small raised dot in the plastic where I think the top of the spring is supposed to seat. That looked good too.
