Ok these are keys i'm trying to buy. But to cut down cost, these need to be bought in a larger quantity, hence why this MO.



Moogle key will cost $20 each for a batch of 25 keys sold. This is similarly priced to the skull key on Elitekeyboards. But if your a Final Fantasy fan, and you like Moogle's over skulls, then this is the key for you.

The second item are windowed keys similar to those in the picture below but without the "legends" part of the keys. So it will be a blank doubleshot windowed key. This be better looking replacement keys for keyboards like Ducky with the windowed keys. Price and quantity needed unconfirmed for know.

PS: Click Clack will be making these keys. So the quality will be top notch. The keys will be for Cherry mx. I'm not sure if click clack can cater to the Topre crowd, i'll ask but no promises :x

Did you actually talk to clickclack about this? I find it kinda hard to believe he is open for QUADRUPLE SHOT custom commission orders when he is still working on perfecting his own two-shot molding technique and drowning in his own already planned out work.

So I think I'll have to agree with iMav here and heat up some popcorn.

Yeah i talked to him.

Said he needed 25 people first though :x

He is rather busy, but he said he would be willing to do it as soon as 25 people have gathered for this.

Colors = purple wings, red nose and blooper, white fur, black outline (black keycap then) So these would be the 4 colors :} The 2nd picture is a good example.

the window is doubleshot. Like the Cherry example. It's neater than Duckys.

Click can't do the legend for it yet :x i don't really mind. Just need matching windowed keys.

The Moogle quadrople shot and window doubleshot are 2 separate orders. I just didn't want to make separate threads so just combined them :p

Are there any differences comparing it with a normal abs windowed key?
IMO doubleshots are only advantageous when there are legends.

Using the ducky windowed key as reference, a double shot windowed key would look much better simply put :X There isn't much else to say beyond that. You could of course harvest some from old Cherry keyboards, but they would be numlock, scroll lock etc. The ones i need is for F9-f10,f11 for my ducky. So wouldn't be nice having those numlock/scroll lock text over there, so since click clack can't do text either, i don't mind having them without text.


As for your other question, i gave click clack some moogle illustration pictures. He came back later saying he could do it for the stated price; but what it will look like exaclty, i'm not sure myself except that it will be quadrople shot.

I'll see if he can give a sketch of what he had in mind :x

You'll have to see the pictures and judge for yourself. But personally i think the cherry doubleshot windows look better.

I'm getting some within a few days, so i'll post some screenshots.

Color/font like old 1980/1990 Cherry key boards to match a modern Ducky 9008.

I set the price to $20 but might be cheaper, will get response from SP within the next week.

The bottom half (alt, control, windows, menu key); Sixty's keys for those aren't compatible with ducky. So thats why i needed them from your MO.

The * looks kinda ugly from Sixty's. I much prefer the normal * :}


Anyway a general approximation should be good enough. I'm not expecting miracles :X although i can hope.


Any chance for a spacebar with matching colors as well ? I'll get Rippy to help me mod sixtys spacebar to be compatible; but i rather i just have one that just works off the bat :x

The above kit contains the space bar which will fit Ducky, Filco and modern Cherry G80-3000.

I was too lazy to draw in the windows flag and the tool-chest (or menu) key. Both will look the same as in WhiteRice's Round 1.

These look beautiful and probably would help with my qwerty typing skills, unfortunately i'm already committed to the classic white/beige look of Sixty's doubleshot set :X

Those kbc keys are damn fine for others who got money to splash :}

I would ditch sixty's keys and go with the Rainbow Brite keys.  They go well with your persona.
