Title: Question for Sixty or Webwit...

That's what I thought, minus the arrow keys and delete/end/pg buttons etcetera. So what would the PCB be? Just a hacked 356CL one with the arrow key bit lopped off?

Anyway the board is an AHMX, modded to fit ALPS switches. The guy says he modified the PCB drawings and had the PCB made to fit ALPS. The drawings for these PCBs are available in CAD format on OTD so its pretty easy to modify and change stuff around.

Probably the smallest MX switch board in existence. Even the height is minimal due to spherical keycaps and absolutely no bezel.

I think it has the Aikon controller build into the PCB directly, so its fully programmable on the fly.

As far as I know the viki_hhmx variant was entirely made from scratch by a single guy and was not available for sale. The other HHMX was available as a kit.. they are more common with acrylic cases.

However, nothing is readily available and if you plan on building one you would have to find a company to laser cut the case and have the PCB made... not a cheap task.

I tried to make one of their HHMXs, but their PCB design uses 4 layers, which results in very expensive PCBs, even when ordering 5+. As for the case, I could not find ANYTHING affordable (and by affordable I mean < 200 Euro) in Europe to laser cut acryl from CAD files. I know it is much cheaper in Korea though.

I could laser cut acrylic and make a case but that's the extent of my expertise. I could also rapid prototype a case but that can cost up to a grand. lol

So I came to the conclusion that the only way to build one is to buy a kit once it's supposed to be available later this year from my fellow Koreans.

They have lots of materials that you can have stuff laser cut out from, and just started offering 3d printing services. I want to look into making something like the acryllic cases that the otd guys are using, but haven't had the time.

It might be durable enough together with a PCB, but not without one.

Where can I get those low profile spherical keycaps? I desperately need such a spacebar for my mod.
