I remember reading a while back they would have new models by Jan/Feb. So i checked their website and found this:

Only $109 on sale atm. Not bad at all...even has usb 2.0 and headset jacks. Still only avail in blue but this makes an attractive alternative to the non backlit blackwidow, and depending on the build quality, a good alternative to the rosewill.

I can't tell anything being different?

? This isn't the new XArmor people have said is coming "sometime" (ie browns, etc), this is the non-backlit (and in turn slightly cheaper) version of the U9BL... unless you meant you didn't want backlighting?
This is "new" only in that it wasn't in stock yet, the information on it has been on their site for months.
Oh well, back to fiddling with a TG3 and learning how to code for Atmels =(

so this is the non-backlit version of the U9BL? looks just like it lol. the backlight was pretty helpful for me when i was just learning to touch type though, since i am always sitting in the dark at my computer :P

If you look at the numeric key pad, you can see backlight controls on the 8 and 2 keys.
