... keyboard!!!
NeXTstation mit Monitor, Maus und Tastatur (http://cgi.ebay.de/NeXTstation-Monitor-Maus-Tastatur-/110640363200?pt=Klassische_Computer&hash=item19c2adf6c0)
If I hadn't too many pizza-box computers for now, I would go for it.

Pick-up only in Hannover ... but sellers can often be swayed.
I adored the NeXT system back in the day. It was years ahead of Windows PCs and Macs.
I like the layout, but not a fan of ALPS switches.

ALPS are ok, but I don't like the layout. I like the GUI. I use GNUstep Window Maker (look&feel of NeXTstep) since several years. I like the look of the box, but I don't like a two-button-mouse. Mice must have 3 buttons!!!
Maybe we could split the whole thing up. I will send you the mug, ripster! Maybe MW takes the monitor...
PS: Get into your Volvo and drive to Hannover. It's not too far away from Sweden;-)

Hehe.. The distance Berlin - Hannover three times just to get through Sweden to Malmö and Copenhagen. Then the same distance through Denmark and Germany (straight west, then straight south) ... And that is just a rough estimate. It would probably be much longer.

I have also been using Window Maker exclusively at home since the first release in 1997. Too bad that there hasn't been a new release in a while. It does not always seem to work in sync with GNOME. Perhaps I should take a look at the code ...
I agree with you about the mouse buttons in X-Windows.

I live in Hannover. Well, actually a few kilometers outside of it but close enough. :)

My great aunt lives near Hannover.

It's kinda like a Dell AT101W, except you are stuck using it with a 68k box.

The NeXT-station is the Amiga for the grown-up.
BTW: I know someone,
who knows somebody,
who has got relatives,
who have heard of people,
who lived in Hannover for some period of time.

Last I checked, Magnesium spontaneously combusts if you leave it out of oil for too long.
Sounds like something Steve Jobs would design.

The NeXTstation is nothing like an Amiga. I've got both (side by side, actually) and I much prefer the Amiga. The NeXT is very slow to boot, tedious to use and doesn't do very much well. It looks awesome, but other than that I'd say the Amiga blows it away - in usability, flexibility, responsiveness. (even though the Amiga has a slower processor)
Commodore needed a Steve Jobs (or his non-union Mexican equivalent) to beautify the Amiga and create a "reality distortion field" to frenzy the masses. Instead, Commodore created a "buyer confusion field" and sat on their asses doing nothing.
