Wow Sam -- you're doing horrible things to me. Thanks.
Picked it up for a total of $34 -- not bad for what I've seen M13s go for. I think it will become the main keyboard.
In one day, 5 Model M's for under 100 bucks. I'll be staying away for geekhack for a while now...

Sorry for causing so much damage to your wallet, but I promise I'm going to stop, or at least reduce it to a minimum soon, being I'll be tied up on business for at least a week.
I bought my M13 for over double that price...wished I'd held off and gotten this one instead, but I didn't need another one so glad someone here got a good deal.

Many thanks for the link. I'm a huge trackpoint fan so I've always had my eye out for an M13. Assuming it works reasonably well it'll replace the mouse and the current keyboard.
Now I have enough that I can justify painting one (whichever is the most beat-up looking) black. An all black, no-legends model M has its appeal.

It would be neat to have an M13 keyboard.
One thing I've noticed is there really aren't any Model M's with the trackballs on ebay anymore. I remember when I used to see M5-1's and M5-2's on there all the time (I got a friend a good deal on an M5-1, he picked it up for 99 cents on ebay), but I haven't seen one in quite a while now. I wonder where they all have gone.

And think, this one could have been yours:
