I've only recently been introduced to the world of mechanical keyboards and after a lot of research I was able to settle on a Filco Majestouch with brown switches from KeyboardCo. I have now used that keyboard at home for a week and I've been absolutely blown away by how good it is in comparison to any and all keyboards I've used in the past. In fact, I like it so much that now using the rubberdome Levonos we have at work feels really weird and kind of "mushy", so I have been giving the idea of buying my own keyboard for work some consideration.
I've noticed today that the Topre Realforce 105UFB is now available in Finland directly from the biggest finnish online hardware reseller (verkkokauppa.com) and I remember reading a lot of comments regarding how Topre keyboards are supposedly very very good. However I attibute me liking my Filco with browns to the fact that I was able to find very good verbal descriptions of how each different "main" switch types (black, brown, blue) feels to type on and to play games with, so I made the 100% perfect guess that browns would suit me well without having actually tried it before purchase. My problem is that I can't seem to find any good verbal descriptions on how the Topres feel like and I really don't think that spending 170 euro on a keyboard I don't have a precise understanding of is a particularly bright idea. Can anyone point me in the right direction or describe in words how the Topre Realforce 105UFB compares to a Filco Majestouch with browns?

I will get my Realforce 105GR today or tomorrow, I can "verbalize" my experiences with it and tell you how it feels in comparison to MX Blues.

Do you have a link with those descriptions please?

I don't have them on-hand, I just browsed a lot of various discussions regarding mechanical keyboards on half a dozen different sites.

Check out the start here link in my Sig.

I'm typing this on my newly arrived Realforce.
My initial impressions are as follows:
In comparison to MX Blues the keys feel just as light, but a little smoother. They lack the definite tactile point of the Blues, but are not mushy.
The weighted keys are only noticable when you pay attention to it.
I'm not sure yet whether I like it or not, but it certainly is a nice keyboard.

Congrats!! Please post pics in the "what you got in the mail today" thread!

The Topre is a better Cherry Brown than the Cherry Brown.

I think that Topre > any other switch, personally.

Description is easy. It feels like a springier rubber dome with nice stabilizers and magnificent keys.
Pretty much, yes.

I think that Topre > any other switch, personally.
Same for me bro

I still have to figure out if I like it more than BS, but I definitely like it more than MX Blues.
