Title: Model M Spacesaver, no cord.
Post by: Nuke on Thu, 27 January 2011, 22:37:16
The eBay description is terribly labeled, that's a good recipe for low competition! No cord, and the seller mentioned some scuffing on corner.

Missilemike is poised to strike on this one.

That does look like a nasty spot in the upper-left.  I would discourage everyone else from bidding and I will report back :)

I think only people that own a PS/2 Model 25 should be allowed to bid on this.

So that leaves EverythingIBM and... EverythingIBM. :p

I found this listing the day after it was posted and was hoping the poor naming would keep y'all off it. No such luck... I fold.

I sniped this one from the beach. I also nabbed two NIB 1390131s from the same seller: this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=180616351488&si=g1W85W9hQBHOX4%252B34mgor4jqZYs%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT) and this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=180616358417&si=g1W85W9hQBHOX4%252B34mgor4jqZYs%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT). I set my bids on the first day of the auction, and thought that I could sneak them through. Evidently Geekhackers are getting too good at Ebay searching to pull something like that off.

It looks like people were on to all of these, but I still feel happy with the group. Back when I was first getting interested in Ms I missed two NIB 1390131s that went for $20/each when a seller ended their auction early to an offer. I guess this makes up for the loss, but I paid a lot more.

Hey congrats.

I put a snipe in on all three of those too.  They're not new, but it's cool to have the boxes and they look in great shape.  That nick on the space saver kept me at a max of 120$

I would post pictures, but I'll be in Brazil until July and the boards are awaiting me stateside.

I'm at my wife's family's beach house for the next month. We were only in a state of emergency for one day because of flooding, so I've been lucky. Life's good!

I've always wanted to visit Brazil. Do they rent their beach house? :D
