it is discontinued everywhere.
you are only going to find used ones or NIB ones from people who bought more than one.

The 87U is now a Korea product only. I bought mine from the above link and paid through Paypal in Korea. I had to setup an account on it as well.

Thanks for the info and welcome to GeekHack! Do you live in Korea? Will they accept paypal payments from outside Korea?

Armygroup (http://www.armygroup.com.tw/shop/goods.php?id=3607) still lists the keyboard. This is the variable model.

I'm glad to have this forum. I live in San Diego. I emailed Leopold and they replied with links and instructions to purchase. I have the all 55g model. I had to ask them how to order that keyboard specifically since it was shown as an option on a drop down menu on there website. They gave instructions and links through email. It wasn't a difficult transaction at all. Correction on the paying through Paypal; it was actually a site called Gmarket which you need to setup an account on. I think they are affiliated with Paypal? I was sketched out at first filling out my CC info on a foreign website but it turned out to be fine.

Nice info.  Gmarket appears to be a typical buying service like GeekStuff4U but for Korea, not Japan.

And btw there are lots of links in the WW Buying wiki for the 87U.  If they are dead or Out of Stock let me know.

Gmarket is the biggest online shopping site in Korea. Its like eBay and Amazon combined. No buying service.

Hopefully it works out.

Total amount I spent was $376. I received it in 3 weeks after paying for it. One thing Gmarket requested that was different was a copy of my photo ID. Perhaps to make match my CC to an ID?

Are there any other things, aside from the useless right windows key, that the 87u has and the 86u does not?
